Cilindrische dewarvaten van KGW Isotherm voor opslag en transport van cryogene vloeistoffen zoals vloeibare stikstof en droogijs. Opbouw: blauwe metalen buitenhuls met volledig verzilverd borosilicaatglas 3.3 binnenvat onder vacuüm. Leverbaar in twee series: type C (zonder handvat, 100–4000 ml) en type G-C (met handvat, 200–8000 ml). Let op: de stop/dop wordt niet bijgeleverd en dient apart te worden besteld (VL-1055240).

Dewarvaten KGW Isotherm type C en G-C – cryogene isolatie

De cilindrische dewarvaten van KGW Isotherm zijn ontworpen voor de opslag en het transport van cryogene vloeistoffen zoals vloeibare stikstof (LN2), vloeibaar zuurstof en droogijs. De constructie bestaat uit een blauwe metalen buitenhuls met daarbinnen een volledig verzilverd borosilicaatglas 3.3 binnenvat dat onder vacuüm staat. De verzilvering reflecteert warmtestraling; het vacuüm schakelt geleiding en convectie uit. Samen zorgen beide mechanismen voor een minimale verdampingssnelheid van de cryogene inhoud.

De vaten worden aangeboden in twee series. Type C is de uitvoering zonder handvat, leverbaar van 100 ml tot 4000 ml (sub-ID's L1055220–L1055226). Type G-C is de uitvoering met handvat voor veiliger transport, leverbaar van 200 ml tot 8000 ml (sub-ID's L1055230–L1055237). De stop of dop voor de vaatopening wordt niet bijgeleverd en is apart verkrijgbaar als VL-1055240.

Toepassingen

Dewarvaten worden ingezet voor de kortdurende opslag van vloeibare stikstof bij cryogene invriesprotocollen, het koelen van koudeval-opstellingen in vacuümsystemen, het bewaren van droogijs bij monstertransport en voor experimenten op lage temperatuur in scheikunde en natuurkunde. Bij gebruik van vloeibare stikstof dienen geschikte cryogene handschoenen en een veiligheidsbril te worden gedragen. Zie ook onze koeloplossingen en handbescherming.
